An evening dedicated to
contemporary silent moving image
and experimental sound
Within the framework of the
10th X-Dream Festival
- Free admission -
Following the great success of Moving Silence in Cyprus for the past seven years at ARTos Foundation, Moving Silence takes place for the eighth consecutive year in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Cyprus and with the support of the Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education and Culture, within the framework of the 10th X-Dream Festival. On Monday, 1 December 2018 at 19:30 at ARTos Foundation, musicians and composers will meet to perform live soundtracks for video and film works without sound by contemporary creators of their choice. The audience will have a unique experience where the musicians-composers perform live their music while the films/videos that have inspired them are simultaneously screened. Before the film program starts our two guest musicians from Berlin Johanna Burnheart and Friedrich Greiling will give a short solo concert.
